Uganda's gorilla treks run in Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga Gorilla national parks. Once rangers find a habituated family, visitors get one hour with the gorillas.
Before you go
Practical requirements
Treks need moderate fitness and can last 2 to 7 hours. Bwindi has four trekking sectors: Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo. Mgahinga, in the Virunga volcanoes, is an alternative to Bwindi's denser forest.
